I need to take my boat from Lake Michigan to San Francisco. Would rather not sail it there, so am looking for a trailer. I have a cradle so could possibly use a flatbed but would rather find a trailer designed for a Contessa.

I'm looking for drawings of the Ronim FG 3 Ro gearbox. Does anyone know where I can get drawings of it?
My 1975 Contessa JJ Taylor has a 7 hp K30 Farymann with a Ronim transmission. The transmission is leaking at the control lever (where the shifting lever comes out of the transmission).

Thanks a lot, bertinol! That's helpful. It sounds like a good straightforward solution that doesn't require a lot of hardware or leave a lot of lines dangling around. I'll give that a try.

It has been five years since anyone posted to this topic, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me about their reefing setup. I just got a Contessa 26 last year, and haven't set up satisfactory reefing. Am about to buy hardware for the boom, and would love to have some advice from someone who has a good setup.
