Hi, I am looking at this boat and it has this traveler modification. I would be using the boat for sailing in the North East out of NJ with the hopes of going very far north. Does this setup look robust enough? How different is this from the original rigging? I have seen the rear pulpit stainless bend before in a knockdown and I am afraid it could wipe out this setup. Any thoughts would be great!

I am wondering if anyone knows if this is an original mast step or if this is a modification. I am looking at this boat to buy and I am trying to identify what custom mods have been made. Thanks!
