Hi all,
we are giving a talk about our travels at the Frenchmans Bay YC Friday 13th, at 8-8:30 pm, with "open boat" an hour before the slideshow.
What about having a Contessa gathering around this? There is lots of space to anchor in the bay. We will be docked at the YC Friday-Saturday, and anchored in the bay before and after.
It'd be nice to meet other Co26'ers, compare boats and just meet. Anyone interested, any suggestions?
Nina and Henrik

We are still anchored in the Toronto Islands, and will stay in the area until mid September (Nina) and early October (Henrik). It would be really nice to meet you all. We are currently checking where to store the boat from October till April (when we'll return to the boat from our winter cabin in Alberta), to take the Trent Severn to Lake Huron.
Whenever you can meet until mid September is fine with us, you just pick a time and place (in western Lake Ontario). Send us an email, or post something here.
Henrik and Nina.

Hi.
BIKA have just arrived in Toronto, and is anchored in the Light House Pond. We have not yet decided about winter storage of BIKA. Thanks for your advise, Stefan, we'll need to decide within a short months time.

Hi all,
we had the great fortune of meeting Over Draft and it's people in Oneida. Now we are in Oswego, where we'll step the mast and tuck away that noisy outboard. We may stop along the south Ontario shore to avoid sailing overnight (it's been so long since last, we'll just fall asleep...), arriving in Toronto near the weekend.
Look forward to meeting all you Ontario sailors, we plan to stay in the Toronto area for a while. For the winter we'll go to NW Alberta (Bistcho Lake), and we need to fly there from Toronto. Maybe we could find winter storage for BIKA in the Toronto area, as time is running short for going to Georgian Bay? Please let us know if anyone have any suggestions (sybika#hotmail.com).
Jose, we couldn't find your email, but next weekend we'll definately be in Toronto. Is it too short time to organixe something?
See you soon, Henrik and Nina (and Erie).

Used or new headsails. We are currently in the Bahamas, enroute to New York area, then up to the Great Lakes. Please email at sybika@hotmail.com. Henrik and Nina in BIKA, Contessa 26.

Hi everyone.
We have decided to speed up our plans a little, and plan to arrive in New York by June this year. (Go from Bahamas either directly to NYC, or go in at Beaufort/Cape Hatteras.) Then take the Hudson River and Erie Canal to Lake Ontario, then the Trent Seven canal to Georgian Bay, where we hope to spend the winter. We'll look for a cabin, and put BIKA on the hard for the cold months, and look forward to proper winter again. Blueberries and bears, here we come!
Maybe we will see some of you along the way?

Thanks for all comments.
We plan to arrive in New York spring 2008, and then take Hundson River, Erie Canal and other water ways up to Hudson Bay area in Lake Superior. Winter over on land (us and the boat), before trailing BIKA to Vancouver. Maybe we`ll see some of you along the way.
So long, Henrik and Nina in BIKA, currently in Cartagena, Colombia

We are slowly circumnavigating in our CO26 BIKA, and have thought of Canada as an alternative to the Panama Canal. Is it a good plan to sail from New York to Thunder Bay in Lake Superior, winter over in a cabin with the boat on land, and then use a trailer over to Vancouver? Any comments?
