Topic: Depth sounder

My boat is equipped with a Lowrance  2460 flasher type sounder.As I just bought the boat not sure how outdated this is.Am I better to move into the present and buy something newer or do these unit work OK.And what are most of you running on your boats .Thanks George

I don't even have a depth sounder. Yours sounds fairly old, but if it works and you can handle the space it takes up, why worry?
