Topic: Lazy Jacks

My boat came with lazyjacks, even though I replaced the old boom, they came right off, went on the new boom, where they do a wonderful job of catching a reefed sail or a doused sail with very little effort.  No adjustmens to make just a very simple outfit tied to the mast and then on two places on the boom. I have no idea if they were just a custom made deal or store bought.  I suspect custom.  A picture would be worth more than a thousand word technical description, if you want I'll send one.

My wife is taking sailing lessons.  Yesterday she came back from class and said "can we get some of those lazy things?". 

Any recommendations out there?  I've looked at Harken and EZJAX websites but want to hear from someone who's actually used a system.  Also thinking of just buying the parts.  Any designs already existing?
