winter protection

Busy day at the marina!  I just spent the afternoon watching/measuring/planning the best way to keep the snow off my boat over the winter.  It was quite the show, with all the boats jammed in together on their cradles and all the power-tools buzzing away.  Some very elaborate structures being built! and each one is different.  Any suggestions for a quick & easy tarp support?  (the mast is off the boat, so I can't use that).  Any important pointers I should be wary of? Any pictures floating around of tarp supports on a Contessa? suzeh
PS  BTW.  I've gotta say, as a new boat owner, this site has been a fantastic support! Almost every question I've had (and I've had many) has been answered by using the "search" function on this site.  What a great resource!
