My New Contessa 26

Hello,

I just want to introduce myself again. I just made to Orient Point, Long Island in New York after a 3 week journey bringing my new Contessa 26 back from Brighton, Ontario.

Spending three weeks on the boat proved to me that my decision to buy a co26 was the right decision. She is a wonderful boat that handled beautifully throughout my trip, especially the last 8 hours when i encountered a 25knot day with stronger gusts. I felt secure in my boat and she handled the weather perfectly. I finally understand what a balanced boat she is.

I hope to be an active member of this forum as this is my first big boat and I will undoubtedly encounter a steep learning curve when it comes to upkeep.
