Vehicle options for towing contessa

I'm going to be in the market for a contessa next spring.

First i need to get a vehicle that can tow her as my fj40 struggles to tow my V-21

I will be towing 2-4 times a year depending on vacation scheduling. 

Most of the year she will be moored on my local lake, on vacations she will be towed to Florida for winter cruising. 

I'm going to be looking for a contessa that already has a trailer.

The vehicles I'm considering is a k-5 blazer or a 3/4 ton suburban, both would be 4wd.

There is a huge difference between the two vehicles.

I plan on setting up a mast raising system which will allow me to step the mast on a hinge and using a spinnaker/genny pole with the aide of the winch on the vehicle hoist the mast into the air before launching and lowering before pulling out.

I would like suggestions from those who have raised masts without the aide of a crane as well as vehicle recommendation for towing.

I live in SC so towing down to southern Fla is a long drive but pretty flat.  I would be using mostly interstate highways.
