Have you tried this site:http://sailquest.com/market/index.htm

C,
just watched your film, very entertaining.  I got the funny feeling that i've seen your Contessa in my neck of the woods before.  Ever had her down in the Tampa/Clearwater Florida area for a sail previously?

I thought a favorite option when adding a lot of chain was to use a pipe to run it down thru the forward edge of the vee berth below into the storage area.  I think the setup (Haven't actually done one on a Contessa myself) lets it drain straight into the  bilge.

Got a question about that outboard mount on "Kate":  doesn't extending the engine that far off the stern aggravate the sailing balance even more than the usual with any gear you hang back there?  It's bad enough to hang an outboard offset like that because of the external rudder, but cantilever it too?  I would think this would not fly in a seaway for sure.   And i certainly would not care to haul it in and out on a regular basis. Daysailing only?

The Contessa 26 is fine on that trip.  I think the key ingredient here is  with who and how many she will be carrying.
One or two adults MAX!  Hell, BIKA is circumnavigating out of Norway right now (a couple, and he's 6'7" and they have a feline onboard (where in God's name do they put that litter box???)

Hi Adrian, was just browsing the Hanky Panky "for sale" in the Marketplace and when i clicked on 'more pictures' i ran into that temporary page with all  the Contessa 26 images; Great idea. Eventually, it's going to be accesible thru the new gallery as well , right?  I noticed that i could only find it thru the Hanky Panky listing or the link you put in your announcement here.

Trying to track down that 26 listed on the registry in Tampa, Fla.  Would appreciate it if anyone could offer any info.  Thanks,

Shannon,
I am fairly new to the forum, but have thoroughly enjoyed your take on the Contessa 26 as i read your postings.  I have been searching for a Contessa informally for a month or so now and came across your broker's listing and immediately knew on first glance that  i was looking at RHIANNON!!   It was only then that i came to the forum and saw that you had indeed put your 26 on the market.  I am tempted to fly over and check her out more closely, with or without those extra holes in the transom!
Best of luck,
