I have a very heavy duty highway trailer which is 10 years old. It was only used as a yard trailer and has 0 miles on it but shows the usual wear and tear from banging around in a yard. It will take just over 30' of boat. It has twin 6000 lb axles with electric brakes on one. It needs paint (there is only surface rust ) new lights and a harness. The previous owner switched to a power boat and had the tri pods cut at the rails. they could easily be re attached to suit your boat. The tires have 0 miles on them but are cracking from age. I'm asking $5500. Pics available at overbluewaterDOTcom. a couple of pics show the tripods placed in position. Please email me offline if interested.

#334 is a Contessa 26 from the newer JJT molds.  The decks are solid with no evidence of delamination or core issues, and the interior is in excellent condition as well.  The big item on the work list is to finish the bottom job in progress.  The hull below the waterline has been professionally peeled and dried and is ready to be sealed, faired and barrier coated. A thorough photo documentation can be found at overbluewaterDOTcom. I'm asking $8000.00 Please email me offline if interested.

Opps, wrong button!

Suselle sports her original casting which took her to the Bahamas and back, up and down Lake Ontario many times and she's ready to do it all again. Are there any instances of this casting actually failing?

Suselle's 3 reef main has a few miles on it and I'm researching the possibilty of having a new one made. I'm wondering if there is a benefit to collaborating and dealing with one loft. Anyone?

TG

If you're interested,I've got some photos of another 29 ( in Port Credit )that's just about to cross the Atlantic. Also, she's got a Voyager windvane.

Did you find out anything more about where she was made, where she has been etc?

I'm curious to know what's happening with the pocketcruiser website.

Peter Tietz of Voyager Windvanes made the North American Windpilot under licence from the company in Germany from 1984 onwards.. When the German company was forced out of the North American market for about eight years as part of a legal settlement, Peter changed the name of his company from Wind Pilot Inc., a Canadian company to Voyager Windvanes Inc. Peter then developed his own vane and seems to be continually developing and updating. It's very light, can be mounted on the centre line and based on Peter's own vane which I saw in his shop and has been mounted on his Niagara 35 for seven years, it's bulletproof. Methinks the Voyager deserves a closer look.

This HIN thing has got me wondering what the last boats were, and when?

TG

Here's some info for the registry. The HIN for the fixer upper in San Diego is ZJT033231284.

I've never even thought about selling my boat. She's still in the restoration stage with a ways to go although sailing again. I'm going to be on the coast for most of the summer and I'm always interested in an orphan. How much is a song?

TG

Hi all

How do you know the extent of the blister damage? Is it structural?
