Yes, many older boats were built without hull numbers. I am not sure when the requirement for unique hull numbers came into effect.

Both the JJT and JR registries have been updated.

In addition, 27 Contessa 26s have been marked on our map on the registry page. That's fantastic guys! It's quite interesting to see the concentrations and general locations of our boats.

For now that stuff can go in the "for sale" forum. The nice part about it being there is people can post their own stuff, and we have the added advantage of it being searchable.

My post is in the same place shannon, but I have an old old old Autohelm 800. It works fairly well, though its easily overpowered by anything approaching weather.

Whatever you decide, let us know. I'm in the market for replacing our 22 year old vinyl wonders.

There's still more updates to the registry coming. It's a bit of a bear to maintain, and I'm trying to make something easier for us to deal with.

I'll look through the stack of paperwork our boat came with, but I don't think I have such a manual.

We have somewhere between 12 and 18 screws that hold down the cockpit sole. It's a bit of a trial to get at the engine, but more because I have to find somewhere convenient to store the cockpit grate and panel.
