I use a 3 blades 11x7 with a Petter 6.5 and it works fine even on strong front winds. So to me a 3 blades is a good way to go as we had before a 11 x 7 2 blades with very limited performance.

In order to pull the inj pump out, the stop engine need to be fully pull out if adjusted properly.

I have already contacted and the plate is not supplied by Petter. I have also tried on the Hurth side and same answer. It looks like if the plate has been supplied by the engine-transmission vendor.

Worst of all, the outside diameter and the bolt circle is not as per SAE.

I am looking for the damper plate bolted on the Petter flywheel, the transmission is a Hurth HBW10. Any idea where i could find it in Canada?
Outside diameter = 185 mm
Spring plate assy diameter = 125 mm
Bolt patern= M8 * 6 at 172mm C-C
Splines: 10 splines at 1 1/8 inch

I have the same setup on the 1975 but I don 't have any picture right now. Will come back in May with pictures. It looks like a large rivet : the head goes in the key hole and the lower end is attached to a steel wire.

I use Fugawi Software and NDI charts, very helpfull and easy to work with. I match the software and NDI charts with an old GPS Garmin 76 and it works great.

I'm planning to replace my old Petter 6.5hp by a Kubota Z482 13hp at 3600rpm. I need inputs from users. The Z482 is also named as Beta Marine engine or Nanni Diesel.

if your engine is a Petter 6.5 hp. The shaft is 7/8 diameter and the 3 blades prop should be a 11X7. If you found a cupped 3 blades, go with a 11X5

The 13 inches 3 blades is the std propeller for the 2GM20, but what is the pitch of the prop ?
Also there is not enough blade tip clearance, it should be at least 10% of prop diameter (1.3 inch). This could cause cavitations, vibrations and lost of performances. To be safe, the aperture design of the Contessa 26 doesn't allow more than a 11 inches diameter prop.
