Try getting a hold of "ushuaia" a member of this site... he is in the Azores and he had to deal with that sort of issue, when he bought his Contessa ... maybe he can help.

I have a Harken Unit 1 MKIII Roller Furller... and I love it... no more going to the fore deck to dowse a sail... I like especially when I'm all alone... sure makes things easy.
Of course there are many other makes out there that would work as well

Welcome and congratulations...
I have my garmin 276c mounted on a swing arm on the port side and it swings out into the cockpit for me to liook at and at the same time it's out of the environment.... it works good.
